Hey guys, Kenton here!
The past 2 days have been crazy! We had a crusade that impacted so many different lives! The crusade is inside an older soccer stadium. There is a stage down on the field and on the other side of the field is a section of chairs where the Americans sit along with translators to help us understand. Then, in the stands is all of the Brazilians who have come to the event. The very night was amazing because we had over 1000 people healed! There were 300 people who accepted Christ as well! This was a great night! Our group was able to be apart of these healings. Then again tonight we had another crusade. There was easily over 40000 people there each night and tonight was more packed than the night before. Tonight was awesome! I don't know the actual numbers currently but our group along prayed for many people and over 16 people received healing! There was a guy who struggled with migraines for over 8 years and he was healed tonight! This gives me courage and faith to believe that God will heal me as well! The next crazy thing is that a girl was deaf and received healing last night. Here first word, (when you are deaf, most of the time you can not speak either because you do not hear what to pronounce) Her first word was, "Jesus!" There were many more like this as well! People all over were standing up healed for things like deafness, blindness, and so much more!
This part deserves it's own paragraph! There was a man in a wheelchair who was paralyzed from the chest down for 1 year and 4 months. We had a group of people praying over this man. Over an hour of prayer later. This man was OUT OF HIS WHEELCHAIR! This was amazing! He did have a few people helping him walk but he was so happy he walked across the soccer field! Prayer can do powerful things. I was blown away by this and I even put food down to go see this guy and pray for him!
Please continue your prayers for us as we are exhausted and yet still have a packed schedule. I am trust caffeine to get me through! Actually I am trusting God to get me through and using caffeine as a booster!
Awesome!
